Ron Smith
President & CEO
Ron Smith is a hands-on president and CEO who spearheads BAC's strategic direction. Utilizing his broad range of business management and customer interaction experience, Ron oversees the company's product development, client, partner and investor relations and execution of day-to-day operations. Prior to co-founding BAC in May 1996, Ron spent 30 years with IBM. His experience spans the business areas of strategy formulation, product development, research, engineering, quality assurance, marketing and sales. Ron held management positions in multiple IBM divisions in the US and abroad, and led business efforts that generated significant revenue to IBM. Ron's vision, vast business experience and mentoring ability make him uniquely qualified to lead BAC.
J. Carlton Jones
Vice President & CFO
Carlton Jones is BAC's financial executive in charge of treasury management, accounting and budget execution. He is responsible for all aspects of the company's financial reporting and analysis, tax planning and compliance, banking, risk management, human resources administration and stockholder records. He also participates in corporate strategic planning and the administration of investor relations. Carlton came to BAC in April 1997 with more than 20 years of senior-level financial management experience and six years experience as a CPA with Ernst & Young. He has served as CFO for both established corporations as well as startup enterprises, and has provided consultative leadership to various small businesses.
Jeff Powers
Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing & Business Development
Jeff Powers leads BAC's sales, marketing and business development efforts. He is responsible for the planning, organization and implementation of strategic sales and marketing activities, as well as the development of new segments, channels and industries. He fosters key customer relationships and ensures product and service delivery excellence. Jeff joined BAC in 2007 with more than 20 years of experience working for companies including ThingMagic, Inc., Optimal Robotics, Players Communications Network and Sensormatic Electronics Corp. He also established his own sales and marketing consulting firm, JK Powers and Associates, where he led negotiations for a client that resulted in a chain-wide rollout to Wal-Mart. Through his various executive and management positions, Jeff has had successful customer relationships with prominent retail organizations including Wal-Mart, Kmart, JC Penney and Blockbuster.
