SecureTouch Advanced External (STAe)
The SecureTouch Advanced family now includes STAe, a finger image capture and feature extraction module that enables biometrics to be integrated with existing EFT terminals and POS systems. STAe provides the same robust intelligence of the full-feature STAm solution, but without the user input/output keypad, display screen and other functionality that can be supplied via the existing EFT PIN Pad.
This small footprint, low-profile peripheral enables merchants to capitalize on BAC's superior biometric technology and system level architecture for point-of-sale transactions, while continuing to utilize their existing EFT terminals and host server.
