SecureTouch Advanced Modular (STAm) enables every retailer to purchase only the POS functionality required to meet their current needs, and then easily upgrade to meet future needs without replacing the base hardware…thus protecting their investment and increasing their ROI.
The base device includes a high-functioning graphical display and keypad, as well as multiple external ports, peripheral/memory card slots and Ethernet 10/100 connectivity. Optional features are available to add: biometrics, magnetic card reader, camera, document imager, printer and modem capabilities. Future modules include RFID reader, smartcard reader and wireless support.
